Below we offer details of our personal service and terms of
business but underline that we really like to discuss your
requirements and options for delivery and try our best to suit your
needs rather than offering a clear cut and automated service.

Making a Purchase
We accept Switch, Solo, Mastercard, Visa and Delta for
payment over the telephone or by email, when sending
cheques they should be made payable to "Medina" and sent to
5 Kingswood Road Colchester, CO4 5JX.
Items not held in stock and
for order require a 50% payment on the order and the balance
on delivery. They remain the property of Medina until full
payment is received. This 50% is also a non-refundable deposit
on the goods unless damaged in transit. To order, please contact us to check availability and shipping costs.
Shipping and
Handling
Orders are dispatched every Monday and usually take 2 to 10 business days (does not include Saturday and Sunday) for delivery within the UK and worldwide. International orders may take longer depending on the postal service in your country. We use UPS, Business Post Service in shipping our orders.
Delivery Charges
Items up to 10kgs are charged at £10.25 on 24H service or £8.96 for 48H delivery service within the UK.(Most fragile items such as lanterns & tagines come within this category)
Small & Light items up to 2.5kgs such as slippers, Heat Diffusers, Belts and Kaftans are charged £2 on 1st class Royal Mail Service. For more information about delivery costs please do contact us on 01206853481
Important: A charge of £4 applies in case you miss your delivery date and a card was left for your attention. Should you wish to track your parcel please contact Business Post on 01473728828.
Delivery
Schedule
Our aim is to deliver quickly when we hold
the item in stock, naturally we discuss delivery
options and price with the client. Should you wish
to have the item held for a period before sending,
we would ask for a part payment to hold the item,
usually 50%.
Items for special order will
arrive up to 3 weeks after the order depending on
container deliveries and time of year.
No claim can be accepted after 7 days, shortages and damage to be notified to carrier and ourselves within 5 days of receipt of goods, quoting our Delivery Note and/or Invoice number.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, many are limited in quantity and availability.Some may differ slightly in design, colour or size from the pictures.
For lanterns as seen online, photos are intended only as a guide and not an exact representation of these lanterns, as lanterns which are of the same style may sometimes differ slightly in size/measurements, shape or glass colour to the photo shown online.
If we cannot replace the item you ordered and you are not happy with your purchase, return it within ten 10 days in its original condition. We will assist you by suggesting similar products or credit your credit card account with the price of the goods. Please note that postage is not refundable as per which web trade policy and regulations that Medina fully complies with.
At Medina, satisfaction is always guaranteed. We want you to be completely happy.
By agreeing to purchase items mail order from Medina, you are agreeing to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions
Refund
Refunds are issued by the end of each month.
Cancellation
Our customers have the right to cancel their orders up to 5 calendar days after the day following the order, either by contacting our sales team, by fax on (01206853481) or e-mail at (sales@medina-online.co.uk). This does not affect your statutory rights.

Charges
Medina is currently a non VAT registered
business and as a result the prices quoted are
the full price. When we become vatable Medina
shall mark this
clearly.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
